About Renado Robinson, President, CEO/Founder

Renado Robinson founded Crosswinds Insurance Agency after spending nearly two decades on the carrier side of the insurance industry.

He began his career in 1997 with St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Company in the mailroom. Through persistence and industry knowledge, he advanced to Underwriting Assistant and later became an Underwriter. His experience eventually led him to manage underwriting operations and work directly with agents and businesses across multiple industries.

In 2015, Renado left the carrier environment to build an independent agency focused on education, transparency, and client advocacy.

That underwriting background allows Crosswinds to evaluate risk from both sides of the table—helping clients avoid coverage gaps, surprises at claim time, and poorly structured policies.
